Hello, my VOH friends!
We’re so excited to see all of you—our wonderful VOH family and fellow fans of our farm and our delicious goodies. My family has been enjoying preorders of focaccia and breads throughout the cold season, and we’re especially looking forward to warm weather and the amazing selection at the Saturday markets at our Main Street stand in Purcellville.
I wanted to share a few of our family’s favorite tips for reheating VOH breads so you can enjoy them even days after baking. Some of our top picks are the focaccia, boules, and the incredible sweet potato rolls.
Here are some easy ways to bring your bread back to life:
Oven: Preheat to 350°F and warm for 10–15 minutes for a crisp crust.
Microwave: Place on a microwave-safe plate, cover with a damp paper towel, and heat for 10–15 seconds.
Toaster: Toast slices directly for a quick, crispy result.
Skillet: Warm on medium-low with a little butter for a golden crust and soft interior.
Steamer: Steam for 5–10 minutes to restore moisture without drying out.
Air fryer: Heat at 300°F for 3–5 minutes for a crunchy exterior.

As you can see, VOH friends, there’s no such thing as too much bread at home! Freezing is always a great option, too. Our breads are made fresh with wholesome ingredients—flour, olive oil, salt, water, and a whole lot of love—so you can feel good about enjoying them anytime.
Many of these methods work for cookies as well. In our house, we always order extra, freeze them, and pop them in the oven whenever a craving hits.
Wishing you all a wonderful spring! We can’t wait for the start of the farm market season. Skip the store-bought loaves and treat yourself to fresh bread when hunger strikes.
Until next week,
Victoria
