Spotlight: The Blue Ridge Eagles

Happy New Year, VOH Buddies!

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing friends and supporters who made 2025 such a successful year. Because of you, we are entering 2026 with excitement, momentum, and optimism for what lies ahead.

As we begin the New Year, we would like to shine a spotlight on a remarkable organization that is making a meaningful difference for all of us at VOH: The Blue Ridge Eagles.

The Blue Ridge Eagles are part of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.), a nonprofit organization founded more than a century ago and guided by the motto, “People Helping People.” In 2025, the Blue Ridge Eagles made a substantial donation to our farm, and we are deeply appreciative of their generosity and belief in our mission.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles donates millions of dollars to local communities, fundraisers, and charitable causes. As part of its philosophy, 100 percent of funds raised are given back in the form of grants. These efforts support eight major charitable areas, including kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer, and spinal cord injury funds, as well as a children’s fund, memorial foundation, and the Golden Eagle Fund. Today, the F.O.E. includes nearly 800,000 members across more than 1,500 locations in the United States and Canada.

At VOH, we are truly grateful for the trust the Blue Ridge Eagles have placed in us and for their support of our mission to provide meaningful employment for neurodiverse individuals. We encourage our VOH community to embrace the F.O.E.’s mission and join us in thanking them for their significant support of our employees and our work.
